SP7 - SCORE
The main objective is the definition of a System Core Architecture to be used as a reference across Europe for both the development of new ITS safety services and the development of applications increasing the ITS traffic efficiency.
Activities are performed in co-operation by teams of experts (cooperative system cluster) coming from SAFESPOT and other related projects and standardization activities.
This approach guarantees the convergence between specifications developed concurrently by different projects and committees and then will give the possibility to integrate corresponding architectural components into a common reference system architecture.
The SAFESPOT architecture requirements' clusters:
- Modularity and interoperability
- Security and integrity
- Performance
- Safety systems and applications
- Communication system
- Compliancy with traffic control centres
The definition of the SAFESPOT functional architecture is supported by the combined use of UML (Unified Modeling Language) and DFD (Data Flow Diagram).
