Sweden test site (SE)
The Swedish Test Site was coordinated by Volvo, Swedish Road Authorities and Kapsch TrafficCom and demonstrated SAFESPOT applications in parallel with CVIS applications. The main focus is commercial vehicles and their limitations. The site is concentrating on Vehicle-to-Vehicle focused applications with infrastructure support. The main development will be done within the Göteborg area.
Locations:
- Goteborg and Stockholm urban area including a tunnel.
Installed Infrastructure:
- Infrastructure communications equipment (shared with CVIS).
Functionalities to be tested:
- SAFESPOT V2V with V2I support applications
